Description
c-Myc tag peptide is a synthetic peptide with a molecular weight of 1,203 Da. The peptide sequence is EQKLISEEDL, corresponding to the C-terminal amino acids (410-419) of human c-myc protein.
A complete kit containing this peptide exists for the isolation of c-Myc-tagged protein (code # 3305). This kit contains c-Myc tag beads that can be used to elute c-Myc-tagged protein with the addition of this c-Myc-tagged peptide. This method provides a simple and efficient method of c-Myc-tagged protein isolation.
