| Background: | Human RP105 (CD180) is a cell surface molecule with a LRR (leucine-rich repeat) motif in its extracellular domain. It is reported that human RP105 (CD180) is expressed on normal leukocytes from peripheral blood and tonsils. Among B lymphocytes, the expression of RP105 (CD180) is restrictedly observed on mature CD19+ B cells. It is also indicated that RP105 may transmit the B cell activation signal. |
