|Background:||RAIDD, also known as CRADD, is a 22 kDa protein that mediates apoptosis caused by Fas (CD95) and TNFR1. RAIDD binds to RIP through their death domains and binds to the death effector domain of caspase-2 to transduce death signals. RAIDD is constitutively expressed in many tissues.|
