anti-SLC5A9/SGLT4
Code No: BMP074
Background:
The members of the solute carrier family 5 (SLC5) originally classified as the sodium glucose cotransporter family, which are widely expressed in tissues ranging from epithelia to the central nervous system and transport myo-inositol, choline, iodide, and short-chain fatty acids, as well as carbohydrates. SLC5A9, which is also known as SGLT4, is expressed in the small intestine, kidney, liver, lung, and brain. It functions as a sodium-dependent transporter of D-mannose, D-glucose, and D-fructose.

Formulation:
100 uL volume of PBS containing 50% glycerol, pH 7.2. No preservative is contained.
Reactivity:
This antibody can be used to stain endogenous antigen in paraffin embedded human tissues including the cerebellum and kidney by Immunohistochemistry. The reactivity has been confirmed by intracellular Flow cytometry to detect the full length of human SLC5A9 transiently expressed in HEK 293T cells.
Intended Use:
For Research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedure.
