SLC8A2/NCX2
Code No: BMP062
Background:
SLC8A2, also known as sodium/calcium exchanger 2 (NCX2), is a member of the Na+/Ca2+ exchanger family, and rapidly transports calcium ions during excitation contraction to prevent overloading of intracellular stores. SLC8A2, at the transcriptional level, has been detected in the brain, pancreas, testis, and ovaries. Dysfunction of the SLC8A2 gene in mice enhances hippocampus-dependent learning and memory tasks.

Formulation:
50 uL volume of PBS containing 50% glycerol, pH 7.2. No preservative is contained.
Reactivity:
This antibody can be used to stain endogenous antigen in paraffin embedded human tissues including the cerebellum by Immunohistochemistry. The reactivity has been confirmed by Western blotting, Immunocytochemistry and intracellular Flow cytometry to detect the full length of human SLC8A2 transiently expressed in HEK 293T cells.
Intended Use:
For Research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedure.
