SLC15A4/PHT1
Code No: BMP055
Background:
SLC15A4, also known as peptide/histidine transporter 1 (PHT1), is a member of the proton oligopeptide cotransporter family. It is involved in the transport of free histidine and also certain di- and tripeptides. The expression of the SLC15A4 protein is observed throughout the gastrointestinal tracts, whereas at the transcriptional level, it is detected in various organs, including the skeletal muscle, kidney, liver, heart, brain, and colon. Recently, genetic polymorphism in the SLC15A4 gene is suggested to play a role in susceptibility to type 2 diabete.

Formulation:
100 uL volume of PBS containing 50% glycerol, pH 7.2. No preservative is contained.
Reactivity:
This antibody can be used to stain endogenous antigen in paraffin embedded human tissues including the colon cancer and small intestine by Immunohistochemistry. The reactivity has been confirmed by Immunocytochemistry and intracellular Flow cytometry to detect the full length of human SLC15A4 transiently expressed in HEK 293T cells.
Intended Use:
For Research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedure.
