SLC7A1 polyclonal antibody
Code No: BMP039
Background:
SLC7A1, also known as cationic amino acid transporter 1 (CAT1), belongs to the solute carrier family 7 (cationic amino acid transporter, y+ system) and transports cationic amino acids such as arginine, lysine, ornithine, and histidine. SLC7A1 is ubiquitously distributed in human tissues. SLC7A1 may also function as an ecotropic retroviral leukemia receptor and be associated with susceptibility to ecotropic retroviruses.

Formulation:
50 uL volume of PBS containing 50% glycerol, pH 7.2. No preservative is contained.
Reactivity:
This antibody can be used to stain endogenous antigen in paraffin embedded human tissues including the prostate by Immunohistochemistry. The reactivity has been confirmed by Western blotting, Immunocytochemistry, and intracellular Flow cytometry to detect the full length of human SLC7A1 transiently expressed in HEK 293T cells.
Intended Use:
For Research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedure.
