SLC5A1 Polyclonal Antibody

Code No: BMP022
Datasheet:
Target:

SLC5A1/SGLT1

Background:

SLC5A1 (SGLT1) is a member of the sodium-dependent glucose transporter family (SGLT family) and highly expressed on the brush border membrane of the cells that line the gastrointestinal tract. Glucose transport by SLC5A1 depends on an energy generated by sodium/potassium ATPase located at the basolateral cell membrane. A mutation in the SGLT1 gene has been found in patients with glucose/galactose malabsorption.

Formulation:
50 uL volume of PBS containing 50% glycerol, pH 7.2. No preservative is contained.
Reactivity:
This antibody can be used to stain endogenous antigen in paraffin embedded human tissues including kidney and small intestine by immunohistochemistry. The reactivity of this antibody has been confirmed by Western blotting to detect the full-length of human SLC5A1 transiently expressed in HEK 293T cells.
Intended Use:
For Research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedure.
